Thermography is an FDA-approved, radiation-free imaging technique used to assess inflammation of any tissue by assessing patterns of heat. Often people will use thermography to assess breast health, as well as inflammation in the joints, thyroid, lymphatics and muscles. Thermography is NOT an alternative to mammography, rather it is an adjunct imaging technique, to use in addition to mammography. Thermography is particularly beneficial for women with dense breasts.
We offer thermography quarterly in the clinic. Jenny Steger, certified thermographer, performs this service for both existing patients and the general public.
