Chronic Pain

Conventional medicine offers expensive, invasive interventions for pain control, often without addressing the root cause of a person’s pain. When I sit with a person in pain, I consider all the reasons for their pain (musculo-skeletal, trauma, inflammation).

First and foremost, my goal is to help the person with the pain. Often a person living with pain is not sleeping well due to pain, is depressed or anxious due to pain, and does not know how to cope with the pain. By addressing the whole person living with pain, natural medicine improves the quality of a person’s life and sense of well-being, in addition to diminishing his/her experience of pain. There are many effective, non-drug options for pain control including acupuncture, physical medicine, and herbal medicine.
